My child is 4 years old. I want to enroll her for individual piano lessons now. What is your opinion? MUSIKGARTEN believes that children at this age should have a good musical foundation before taking up individual piano lessons. Otherwise they will lose interest very quickly and give up music lessons after 1 year or so. At the age of 4, the fingers and the body may not be strong enough for the piano.
