Workshop Description:
This
combination workshop is specially designed and organized as a show of support
for our growing group of Musikgarten Teachers. A trainer for the USA is
specially flown in to conduct this workshop, which is only open to Musikgarten
teachers.
NB : This
combination workshop is only a one time special/offer, with the inclusion of
Music Makers At Home & Music Makers Around the World.

Duration
for the Special Combination Workshop is 5 days
·
Day 1
& 2 covers the Music Makers At Home and the Music Makers Around the World programs. Day 3, 4 & 5
covers the Music Makers At the Keyboard
Year I
·
Workshop
duration for MMKB Year II is 2 days
Must have successfully completed Cycles
of Seasons workshop before.

Learn
to introduce traditional notation and musical concepts in an age-appropriate
manner
§
Learn
how to build ensemble skills and promote musical literacy
§
Acquire
supplemental materials that will enable your students to discover patterns,
preparing them for traditional musical instruction.
§
Learn sings,
dances, stories and celebrations of different cultures.
§
Learn
how to bridge the child’s bodily understanding of beat, rhythm and concepts to
the piano/keyboard
§
Learn
how to capitalize on the child’s love of group music making, and learning
through play and fun
§
Guidance
given on how to make improvisation and composition a natural part of piano
playing
§
Build
the foundation for music literacy
