Music Makers At the Keyboard (MMKB) Year 1  Workshop

for Piano teachers without MUSIKGARTEN Cycle of Seasons Qualification

Must have at least Grade 7 Theory & Practical in Piano or equivalent

   Have to go through an Audition for the following Evaluation:-

a)      Able to identify whether song/music is in Simple or Compound Time

b)      Able to identify whether song/music is in Major or Minor Tonality

c)      Able to sight-sing a short piece of music

d)      Able to identify the intervals or sing the solfeggio of a melody played on the keyboard/piano

e)      Able to identify the note values of a Rhythm Pattern

f)        Sing a song. (Candidate will be given the score to prepare before the Audition)

g)      Play two pieces of music where the Chord Symbols are given on the keyboard/piano. 

      (Candidate will be given the pieces to prepare before the Audition)

 Workshop will be 5 Days. First 2 days for Pre-MMKB will cover:

a)      Basic philosophy of Musikgarten

b)      Learn Songs & Activities

c)      Rhythm & Tonal Patterns
